Katedra kriminální policie

The aim of this subject is to explain fundamental terminology and facts concerning the issue of extremism and to inform students of latest trends and actual events in the field of extremist activities in the Czech Republic. Within the lectures there are introduced the essential principles of extremism, ideological roots, the most important movements of the extremist scene in the Czech Republic, propaganda tools and thematic base in this area. There are further described the anti-extremist activities and procedures of the Police, Ministry of Interior and other specialized security forces participating in this process.

The various selected examples, presented during the seminars, demonstrate the problematic aspects of this activity and highlight the need for a comprehensive approach to this phenomenon.
