Research work:

Training methods of operators, optimal combination and use of the detectors of weapons, explosives and drugs for the persons, baggage and mail security checking

The main subject of this research work was a design and working out of training samples of inert explosives. Physical properties of these inert explosives are the same as original explosives´ physical properties which are determining positive detection of explosive by means of various checking devices. The inert explosives should be detected by such devices as X-ray system with dual energy, back scattering, computer tomography, detectors of trace particles of explosives, neutron activation of gamma radiation etc. Density, plasticity and color are similar too. detection improvised explosive devices and weapons, the typical technical masking of the samples, the testing of the possibility of detection of these danger objects with common detection equipment. Defensive security measures will be proposed on the basis of this testing. These measures will especially consist in special courses and training of security staff. Optimal combinations and use of the detectors will be put forward for various security risks and various financial demands.
