Subject matter:
Study of theoretical background and principles of specific technical devices utilized by security services accompanied by practical demonstrations. This technology includes communication, navigation, audio, photo and video recording, image intensifying, thermal and millimeter wave´s imaging, explosives, weapons and narcotics detection, vehicles speed measurements, detection of drinking and drug-taking, less-lethal weapons, riot control, devices for underground or underwater searching for things and persons. This knowledge is necessary for security and police officers at all stages of management.
Subject objective:
Study aim of this subject is to inform students of latest trends and achievements of research and development in the field of technical devices, methods of their use in police practice.
The aim of practical demonstrations and workshops is to get skills in manipulation with specific devices.
