Subject matter:

Topical achievements in the field of police technical devices are reviewed. Instruments used to observe (discover) and fight organized crime are analyzed, e.q. satellite communication, trunking and cellular phone systems, audio, photo and video recording, thermovision systems, X-ray systems, chemical, radioactive and biological weapons detection. Audiovisual equipment are used to complete the lectures.

Subject objective:

Study aim of this subject is to inform students of latest trends and achievements of research and development in the field of police technique and of methods of their use in police practice. The aim of practical demonstrations and workshops is to obtain skills in manipulation with specific devices.
